Classic Wedding Invitation Set | Blue Formal Invitation Suite | Serenity Calligraphy Wedding Invitation | Simple Invite | Allison and Adam

$ 4.90

I love a sophisticated, formal and traditional wedding invitation. Send out a formal wedding invitation that is simple, elegant and timeless. Your guests will know straight from the get go what the rest of your day will look like. This one shows off light blue accents with two different shades of blue (the info card is just a smidgen lighter than the invite). Wrap the entire suite with a custom belly band for the perfect package.

This invitation suite includes (measurements in inches):
• 5x7 invitation
• 4x5 additional information card
• 3.5x5 RSVP card
• 3.5x5 RSVP envelope with your address printed
• 5x7 outer envelope with your address printed
• 1.5x12 belly band (assembly required before mailing

It's all in the details and this invitation does not slack off. A beautiful, elegant script font is paired with a sturdy and formal all caps font throughout. To not go too over the top, the invitation, RSVP card, RSVP envelope and mailing envelope are printed onto a classic, matte ivory card stock with a light linen texture. The invite is accented by a light blue backing with a slightly lighter blue linen info card.

Before you start, I highly recommend reading through my Wedding Stationery Catalog found here (copy and paste the link):

1. PURCHASE DEPOSIT - Purchase this $100 deposit listing by clicking “Add to Cart” and complete checkout. Your deposit and shipping will be applied towards your final balance.

As you check out with your deposit you'll see a box where you can enter some notes. In that box let me know:
a. how many you need
b. when you need them by
c. any colors you'd like to change
d. any pieces you want to take out or add in
e. if you'd like to purchase them assembled (I tape together, you stuff, seal and send) or a DIY kit (I print and cut everything, you tape it together)
f. if you need to drastically change the price to fit your budget, let me know what your ideal budget would be and what parts of the invitation you absolutely must have (i.e. invite, RSVP, pocket, etc.)

After your deposit, I'll draft a sketch of your design with any changes that you are making to the design and we'll talk about a timeline. Deposits are refundable up until proofing begins OR paper is ordered.

2. PAYMENT SCHEDULE - I'll need a second payment that will get you to 50% of your order before I order paper. Most of my brides choose to do this shortly after a deposit is in so that paper arrives in a timely manner, but if you have time and need to spread payments out, I can do that as well, just know that paper takes about 7-10 days to ship and will not be ordered until you reach a total deposit of 50%.

3. WORDING - As soon as your initial deposit is in and we confirm the details of both your order and payment schedule you can send your wording in either via email or Etsy.

4. PROOF REVIEW - Upon receiving your deposit and wording, proofs will be carefully designed and then sent to you within 2 business days. Nothing is printed until I have your final proof approval. We'll continue to work on your design until it is perfect - please expect this to take about 1-2 weeks. The more organized you are with your wording, the faster it usually goes.

5. PRINTING - Once I have your approval, printing will begin. Printing takes 1-2 weeks. {Rush orders are available for an additional 15% plus the cost of rush shipping the paper in}

6. FINAL PAYMENT - Your remaining balance plus shipping is due before your invitations ship out.

7. SHIPPING - All orders are insured and ship Priority Mail, which takes 2-3 business days domestically and 10-15 business days internationally. You will receive tracking information as soon as it ships. Expedited shipping is available if needed.

*Standard orders take about 4-6 weeks.

Sample sets are available so you can experience my high quality materials and gorgeous design work in person before placing your full order. To order a sample select either "Sample - Assembled" or "Sample - DIY kit" from the drop down menu.

I don't always have samples of every invitation in stock. If the one you order is out of stock, I will contact you with an estimated timeline (usually about 2 weeks). If you are unsatisfied with the delay, your order will be refunded or replaced with a similar item.

Samples cannot be customized in any way, however I am more than happy to include swatches of any additional colors you might want to see. Please note that some of my samples are overprints from a previous order - the colors and general layout will be the same as the listing, but the names and information may not match.

I have found that a lot of my brides are crafty enough for a little DIY work, but are intimidated by the process of designing a full invitation. I can help! Perhaps the easiest way to save a bit on my invitations is to purchase them as a DIY kit. I do all of the printing and cutting, but leave it for you to assemble. I don't provide the tape, but do have recommended brands and methods that I am happy to share with you. A fully assembled version is always included in your order to show you where each of the pieces goes.

You can find the DIY kit pricing in the price drop down menu up top.

All invites purchased as "Assembled" come to you taped together, ready to stuff the insert cards, stamp the envelopes, seal and send. Note - belly bands come flat packed and are part of your seal and send process.

I DO NOT sell digital prints of any of my invitations.

I use the Envelopments brand of paper that is designed specifically for stationery and wedding invitations. I have over 250 colors available in matte, shimmery and patterned papers. Paper weight ranges from 80 lb - 130 lb cover weight.

Prices vary by color and size so I do give individual quotes for every order.

A budget is SO important and I want to do what I can to make sure you stay right on track. Paper pricing varies so much based on the type of paper, paper size, and labor involved. I can adjust nearly any design to fit a variety of price points. If you need to trim down the cost, we can consider taking out pockets, backings or envelope printing. You can still make an invitation beautiful on a budget.

I do what I can to honor budget requests, however please expect it to be at least $2.10 per invite for a single layer 5x7 invite, RSVP card and blank envelopes.

Use your invitation and additional pieces to set the tone for your big day and create consistency. This set does have coordinating thank you cards that will be listed as soon as I get around to photographing them - please ask for digital sketches!
