When Josie and Mike’s wedding planner, Amorette Events, inquired about purchasing day-of stationery for their California wedding, I was thrilled! Their vision for a romantic garden party wedding at San Ysidro Ranch had the potential to be something truly special. Then, when Ether & Smith shared their photos from the day, my jaw dropped. Every detail came together so beautifully, from the soft pastel color palette to the abundant florals. I’m so grateful that we could play a part in bringing this stunning celebration to fruition!

Josie and Mike’s wedding planner originally ordered menus and place cards from two different collections, not realizing that both had corresponding designs. The couple liked elements of both collections, so we created a new design using their favorite details. We also designed a custom bar sign using those same elements. That’s the beauty of semi-custom stationery! You don’t need to start from scratch, but you also don’t need to settle for a design that’s been done before.

My favorite stationery detail from this wedding is the oval menus. Lately, brides have been loving this shape! The curved edge is timeless while adding an unexpected detail to your tablescape. Wedding at San Ysidro Ranch

Southern California’s rolling hills were the backdrop for this wedding at San Ysidro Ranch, a boutique hotel in Montecito. After their first look, Josie and Mike strolled through the property’s lush flower gardens. Then, they said “I do” in front of a floral arch teeming with pink, yellow, and ivory roses. Meanwhile, Josie’s bridesmaids wore mismatched gowns in pastel shades that coordinated with the wedding’s floral details: blush, lavender, and butter yellow. The soft color palette was the perfect pairing for the garden setting.

The reception took place on the patio of the Fireside Room, where the couple and their guests dined al fresco beneath trees strung with lights. Rose centerpieces, floral-patterned linens, and softly flickering candles joined our stationery pieces to create a romantic and inviting tablescape.
