A Charming Southern Wedding at Hewitt Oaks
Riley and Conrad’s wedding at Hewitt Oaks was rooted in Southern charm and timeless tradition. From the moment they began planning, they knew they wanted a celebration that felt timeless and elegant. Their wedding invitations were the first glimpse guests would have before the celebration, and they needed to truly set the tone.
As a wedding stationery designer, nothing brings me more joy than helping couples bring their wedding vision to life through beautifully designed stationery. The Rachel Collection was the perfect match for this classic Southern wedding as it is designed for couples who appreciate tradition, simplicity, and understated elegance.
A Classic Southern Wedding at Hewitt Oaks

Conrad and Riley tied the knot under sprawling oak trees draped in Spanish moss at Hewitt Oaks in Bluffton, South Carolina. The breathtaking Lowcountry venue provided the perfect setting for their celebration to unfold.
Riley was very clear on her vision for her wedding day; she didn’t want anything over the top or flashy. Instead, just timeless elegance that came together flawlessly. Every detail was thoughtful and intentional and turned out exactly how she envisioned.
Riley wore a classic strapless gown that fit her like a glove, while her bouquet of blue and white hydrangeas became the perfect accessory that complemented the simplicity of her gown. Every detail throughout the day felt thoughtfully curated. From the bridesmaids’ dusty blue floral gowns to the groomsmen’s coordinating blue ties, each detail was carefully chosen to weave the soft blue tones throughout the wedding day.
We were honored to help Riley design wedding stationery that helped her create a seamless experience her guests could feel as soon as they received their invitations. She came to us envisioning an elegant invitation suite with a touch of Southern charm, and we immediately knew that the Rachel Collection was the perfect fit to bring her vision to life.
The Classic Wedding Invitation Suite: The Rachel Collection

Riley and Conrad's invitation suite was inspired by the Charlotte Collection, a timeless design I love for its clean layout, refined typography, and classic elegance. This collection was the inspiration for the Rachel Suite later on. Rather than choosing the exact design, Riley decided to get creative and customize several elements to truly make this suite her own. We started by removing the monogram and exchanging the font to create a suite that felt completely personalized while still maintaining the classic Southern aesthetic.
At the heart of the collection’s design is a classic bordered invitation paired with a sophisticated script monogram and carefully chosen serif type. Every element is intentionally restrained, allowing the wording and layout to take center stage. The result is a suite that feels polished and enduring and ideal for traditional Southern weddings like Riley and Conrad’s. The soft blue envelope and text were carried all the way through their wedding, from the invitations to the bridal party's gowns and even the ring box at their ceremony.
When we asked Riley what her favorite moment was of her wedding day, her response was, "I truly wish I could pick a favorite thing from this day, but I can’t. It was all perfect & exactly what we envisioned.”
As a wedding stationery designer, there is no greater compliment than hearing a bride say that her wedding day turned out exactly as she imagined.
We are so grateful to be part of helping sweet couples like Riley and Conrad bring their wedding day visions to life. If you are planning a southern wedding and looking for a timeless stationery suite, shop the Rachel Collection here.
