Take a look at our wedding stationery collections, and one thing becomes clear: we love florals. So it’s no surprise we were completely smitten with Carly and Brian’s wedding day. Their garden-inspired celebration at Stone Tower Winery in Leesburg, Virginia, was a true ode to romance. With a blushing pink palette accented by bold burgundy, lush greenery, and florals by Edge Floral Event Designers, it was the kind of day that reminds you what it feels like to fall in love. We were honored to be part of it by providing the invitations and stationery!

Choosing a Suite & Making It Their Own

When Carly discovered our shop, the Laura Collection immediately caught her eye. With its painterly florals and splashes of bright pink, the suite coordinated beautifully with her bridesmaids’ dresses and the vibrant florals woven throughout the wedding day. Because the couple planned a full wedding weekend, we added two cards to share rehearsal dinner and morning-after brunch details. While the Laura Collection has since been discontinued, our Audrey, Grace, and Ophelia Collections offer a similar look and feel.

Did you know you can customize the design of any of our suites, including font and ink color? Carly wanted to explore alternate font options, so we drafted a version of the phrase “Carly Ellen to Brian Levine” with the script and serif fonts swapped. In the end, we chose the original design, allowing the script font used for their names—set larger than the rest of the text—to take center stage.

Romantic Design at Stone Tower Winery

Carly and Brian’s reception in Stone Tower Winery’s ballroom brought the outdoors in. Greenery twined around the ceiling rafters above the dance floor, while colorful florals adorned every tablescape. At the couple’s sweetheart table, a lush floral meadow paired with candlelight created an atmosphere that positively oozed romance.

We provided the menu cards—also from the Laura Collection—designed to perfectly complement the invitation suite. We especially loved the contrast between the cards’ pop of pink and the moss-green napkins they were tucked into. In addition, we created coordinating stickers for the welcome bags each guest received at the rehearsal dinner.
