Destination Wedding at Villa Corsini in Italy with the Jessica Collection
Sometimes you get married at a venue so incredibly beautiful, you let the space lead the design. That was certainly the case for Lindsey and Ryan. When they began planning their wedding at Villa Corsini in Florence, Italy, they knew they wanted the day to feel timeless and elegant. From their stationery to their tablescape details, many of their design choices were inspired by the villa itself, its historic architecture, Italian gardens, and sweeping views of the Tuscan countryside.
For their wedding stationery, they selected the Jessica Collection, one of my most formal and classic invitation suites. Featuring a custom monogram crest, refined calligraphy, and a traditional layout, the collection felt perfectly at home within the historic setting.
Why the Jessica Collection Was the Perfect Fit For This Formal Destination Wedding
"I chose the stationery because of how elegant, yet simple it was," Lindsey shared. "I really wanted our wedding to feel timeless, and your gorgeous stationery complemented that so well."
The Jessica Collection is designed for couples who love traditional wedding details and formal design. The custom crest and monogram create a sense of heritage and sophistication, while the graceful calligraphy adds romance without overwhelming the overall design.
What made this suite especially fitting for Villa Corsini was how naturally it echoed the estate itself. Inside the villa, walls are covered in creamy-white Rococo-style plaster moldings and centuries-old frescoes. The formal crest motif felt like a natural extension of the plaster moldings, creating a seamless connection between the wedding stationery and the venue. And the custom watercolor envelope liner gave guests a glimpse at the location.

Incorporating French Blue Throughout the Wedding Weekend
While the invitation suite remained timeless and neutral, Lindsey introduced soft French blue throughout the wedding day stationery.
"I switched from green invitations to blue day-of stationery because I knew I wanted a lot of color and didn't want to feel stuck to one. Once my mom, mother-in-law, and maid of honor had their dresses, they seemed to have more blue in them, so I used blue as an effort to tie everything together."
The soft blue crest and monogram appeared throughout the invitations, ceremony programs, place cards, and menus.

A Ceremony Surrounded by the Beauty of Tuscany
The ceremony took place in Villa Corsini's Southern Italian Garden, overlooking the rolling hills of Chianti. Surrounded by rose gardens, manicured boxwoods, fountains, and breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside, the couple said their vows. The romantic setting paired perfectly with the couple's vision of creating a wedding that felt elegant, welcoming, and intentionally relaxed.

Thoughtful Details That Enhanced the Guest Experience
One of Lindsey’s favorite pieces was the circular menu."I also loved the idea of circular menus, which aren't easy to find," Lindsey said. "I loved how they seemed to enhance our plates rather than just cover them."
Placed atop floral china and surrounded by pastel garden-inspired florals, the menus became part of the tablescape design itself. Rather than competing with the place settings, they complemented them beautifully and reinforced the soft, romantic color palette used throughout the celebration.

A Reception Beneath Historic Frescoes
Following the ceremony, guests moved inside the Galleria del Pandolfo Sacchi for dinner. One long reception table stretched through the gallery, allowing the large space to feel more intimate and giving the guests a place for connection. The room itself is remarkable on its own, featuring frescoed walls depicting the allegories of Poetry, Painting, Music, and Medicine, along with a magnificent ceiling celebrating rural deities and Cronos, the God of Time.
Against this historic backdrop, the floral arrangements, custom menus, place cards, and monogram details felt like they belonged there, enhancing the space without distracting from it.

Creating a Cohesive Wedding Weekend
One of the biggest advantages of working with a complete wedding stationery collection is the ability to carry design elements throughout the entire celebration.
From invitations and details cards to ceremony programs, menus, place cards, and signage, every piece of paper shared the same visual language. The result was a wedding that felt cohesive, intentional, and beautifully curated from the moment guests opened their invitations until the final course was served.
If you're planning a destination wedding, estate wedding, or celebration inspired by old-world European elegance, the Jessica Collection offers a timeless foundation that can be customized to reflect your unique vision.
