Fall Wedding at The Inn at Fox Briar Farm

Kiersten and Anthony’s fall wedding at The Inn at Fox Briar Farm was a timeless, intimate affair. Set against the backdrop of the idyllic Philadelphia countryside, the couple celebrated with their nearest and dearest over a slow-paced weekend. Working with them to design their semi-custom wedding stationery was an honor! It’s always rewarding to help a couple bring their vision to life, and this one came together so beautifully.

Reimagining the Daphne Collection for a Fall Wedding

After Kiersten found us, she fell in love with our Daphne Collection: a sophisticated, vintage-inspired suite featuring a swirling calligraphy font and a crest motif. The calligraphy and the crest details were exactly what she was looking for! However, she wanted to customize the suite to read more autumnal for her fall wedding.

We began by adding a custom envelope liner. We played with several pieces of vintage art that evoked the fall season at the couple’s wedding venue, The Inn at Fox Briar Farm. Once we identified our favorite, we played with featuring different areas of the print to highlight the tree and lake. The final step was choosing an ink color that would pair best with the liner. After experimenting with different shades of gray, we settled on black—classically elegant, and the perfect contrast with the muted, autumnal tones of the envelope liner artwork.

Day-Of Stationery with Monogram Details

When we design wedding invitations and day-of stationery for a couple, our goal is always to create a cohesive look across every piece. So, when we began drafting the designs for Kiersten and Anthony’s programs, seating chart cards, place cards, and table numbers, we decided to carry the crest and monogram from the Daphne Collection throughout.

To create cohesiveness without sameness, we played with pairing the two or featuring them separately. For example, we used the couple’s crest to border the table numbers, instead of their monogram, on those pieces. We also stamped their monogram onto golden wax seals, which we featured on the cream parchment place cards.
