Romantic Garden Wedding at The Havens
Alexis and Walker’s wedding at The Havens was a dreamy garden soirée, filled with lush florals and a touch of Southern California magic. From Alexis’ Gahlia Lahav gown, hand-stitched with delicate blooms, to the soft neutral color palette, every detail was thoughtfully chosen to complement the storied setting. We had the absolute honor of customizing their invitations and place cards. Designing stationery allows us to work with couples from coast to coast, and we truly love it!

Reimagining the Samantha Collection
This invitation suite is proof that if you can dream it, you can do it. When Alexis shared her vision for a suite featuring white and ivory paper with two shades of brown ink, I’ll admit—I was skeptical. But the result was nothing short of stunning.
We reimagined the Samantha Suite—typically rendered in French blue ink—with a tonal pairing of mushroom brown and champagne. We selected white paper for the invitation and ivory for the details card, paired with an almond envelope accented by an abstract watercolor liner in muted shades of pink, green, brown, and white. To complement the soft color palette, we hand-deckled the edges, creating a lightly feathered finish. The final suite felt calming, romantic, and effortlessly elegant.
In addition to the invitation suite, we designed coordinating place cards. We carried the mushroom brown and champagne tones, along with the Samantha Collection botanicals, throughout the design to create a cohesive look that reflected Alexis and Walker’s intentional approach to their wedding day.
From start to finish, the process took nearly a year. While that timeline isn’t required, it allows us to “try on” different versions of a design and order printed proofs along the way. With ample time, Alexis and Walker were able to take full advantage of our complimentary proofs. Seeing their suite in person brought everything to life—and they were delighted by how their vision came together!

Floral-Forward Wedding at The Havens
Flowers took center stage at Alexis and Walker’s wedding, beautifully executed by MagSeaDaisy. We loved how the ivory, pink, and peach blooms echoed the botanicals on their invitation suite and the watercolor details of the envelope liner. From petals scattered along the aisle to lush greenery wrapping the stone pergola, every element of the ceremony space enhanced the whimsical, fairytale-like atmosphere of The Havens.
The reception carried that garden aesthetic indoors, with tree centerpieces, a show-stopping sweetheart table framed in florals, and a single delicate blossom placed atop each guest’s napkin. Sage green leather chairs and a sculptural cake adorned with sugar petals completed the enchanting scene, all softly illuminated by dozens of twinkling candles.

One of our favorite parts of creating semi-custom wedding invitations is collaborating with couples who bring fresh ideas to the process—just like Alexis and Walker. Whether you’re drawn to soft neutrals like theirs or dreaming of incorporating every color of the rainbow, we’d be delighted to help you customize one of our designs.
